Celebrating Humanities First Orbit
Today, 12Apr11, marks the 50th anniversary of Yuri Gagarin’s 108 minute orbit around the Earth as the first Human being in space. In celebration of this pioneering achievement YouTube released the full version of First Orbit, a real-time recreation of this monumental event by Christopher Riley, as given below.
