If The Earth Had Rings…
A good friend forwarded this on to me recently. It’s an animation projecting the rings of Saturn onto the Earth and shows how they would look from some of the great cities of the world; it’s a fascinating exercise.
What the rings would look like from different cities and latitudes across the world. It’s interesting to imagine how it would affect culture throughout time. It would have influenced religion, mythology, navigation, etc..
