A 10-Finger Multi-Touch Interface
This is an interesting new approach to improve the graphical user interface (GUI) that until recently has been primarily dominated by the mouse. I’ve been encouraged with the advances in voice recognition in order to circumvent use of the keyboard and have become very accustom the touch-screen interface, so I think that this could be a concept that could be refined into a solid product platform.
This video examines the benefits and limitations inherent in current mouse-based and window-oriented interfaces, the problems facing other potential solutions, and visualizes my proposal for a completely new way of interacting with desktop computers.
