The Lightning Fields
This week I visited the Hiroshi Sugimoto stunning exhibit of photographs called The Lightning Fields currently being displayed at the Fraenkel Gallery in San Francisco through the 31st of October. Below of one of the most impressive photographs in the collection, which are being displayed in large print.
The collection is the product of applying a 400,000-volt Van De Graaff generator to the film and is remarkable when viewed in detail at the gallery; catch it if you can.
