Henry Rollins on Xenophobia
I’ve previously posted my admiration for Henry Rollins, here and here. His current lifestyle affords him the ability to spend a significant portion of his time traveling the world; however, in contrast to what many would consider an opportunity to tour the exotic beaches of the world, Rollins travels to many of the countries that the U.S. Government considers hostel states. In these adventures, Henry simply seeks to meet people, hear their stories, and experience their culture in order to learn first hand what the real story is. By taking such an approach, he gets out of his comfort zone, challenges his preconceptions, and combats people’s inherent xenophobia by conveying his stories back to the American public; an inspirational and admirable modus vivendi.
