TAM7 Wedding
The video for the previously mentioned wedding at TAM7 has finally been released on YouTube via the JREF and is given below. The event was made to appear as though it was spontaneous, however the acting associated with that deception did not take anything away from what was a wonderful secular ceremony. I’ve been to several interesting and diverse secular unions over the years, but this one stands out mainly because of the audience, which was united in celebration of the event. Such harmony was very refreshing in contrast to a few of the aforementioned weddings where some audience members were not in line with the secular values of the bridal party. Congratulations Rebecca and Sid! Skeptics unite!
During The Amaz!ng Meeting 7 Sid Rodriguez from London Skeptics had a question to ask the Skeptic’s Guide to the Universe Podcast panel, Rebecca Watson mainly. That question was “Will you Marry Me”. A bit stunned and pleasently surprised Rebecca asked the audience “what do you think audience”. The crowd erupted in huge cheers and a wedding was to take place right there on the stage.
