The Worth Ryder Gallery
While over at the Phoebe A. Hearst Museum of Anthropology, on the UC Berkeley campus, I had the opportunity to peruse The Worth Ryder Art Gallery, which was located next door. Although the exhibition was very small, about 15-20 pieces, a couple of students caught my attention; a selection of their work is given below:
The Berkeley hip-hop cephalopod.
An extraterrestrial praying mantis.
Unfortunately, none of the pieces were labeled, so I can not convey the actual titles, or the names of the artists; a shame, as it’s interesting work.
