Prop 8 push back

In a follow-up to Keith Olbermann’s original statement in opposition to Prop 8, Olbermann suggests that recent poll data suggests that prop 8 might pass if proposed again today. I would be interested to see the polls randomization protocol, in light of the fact that the majority of the center of the state voted in favor of the proposition. However, I do agree with Olbermann and Gingrich’s confirmation of the fact that the proposition brought the issue to the forefront of the public and with such many people have realized that they might have been subject to right wing propaganda. This proposition should never have been on the ballot. The bottom line: Social rights should not be put up to a popular vote.

From Countdown on MSNBC:

Nov. 25: The California State Supreme Court which granted 18,000 couples the right to marry is agreeing to review the legality of the proposition that took those rights away. Youth and Campus Outreach Program director Candace Gingrich explains.
